investing in health
I had a book signing over the weekend at Borders Books. One of the attendees spoke asked about buying organic food and the extra cost involved. I just saw a commercial for Burger King's double cheeseburger that is now only $1. We have very cheap food, but it is not good food. This has gotten me thinking. We have the cheapest food source. In America, we only pay 10% of our income to feed ourselves. But we pay 17% for our health care. If we spent a little more on feeding ourselves well, we would not need to spend as much correcting the diseases that our cheap and unnatural food supply encourage. That's all.
